Reflection: Second Grading

https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSJe2Izdj1IlUIeePHgSd7mTLusTEusdJ2wPMQKw1AMov-Qi4Vvxw
All things can be changed. But for me, this second grading period is just like the past first grading period. Almost all the things are the same...
Rushing some projects, last minute reviewing, copying others notes, all things are just like "deja vu". But this "deja vu" is what I like. Because my friends did not change. My health did not change. My style did not change. And this not-changing things is what I like.
If these things changed, I will miss all of them. If this happen, even I ,,,will also be changed.
          That's all what I want. I don't like change.

My Teacher, My Hero

What are Heroes? Are they have Super Powers? Savior of mankind?
For me the word HERO compliments the word TEACHER. Teachers are like heroes. Not the way other people think that they have super power or strengths but the way they help the other people.
Teachers serves as the builder of the world. They build men that have the determination to change the world into a better place. Teachers make Lawyers, Engineers, Doctors and many other people can be.
Thanks to teachers, for we have men that will cure our sickness, thanks to teachers, for we have facility builders that makes our houses and other valuable buildings, and thanks to teachers, for we are what we are now,... standing, thinking, to change, develop the world to make better life not only for us but for the next generations.
Teachers are also considered as our second parents for they fulfill the things parents do in schools. Teachers are our second parents and School is our second home. So we must respect and value our teachers and the school.
Teachers are heroes for they save the lives of children from the world that is lack of knowledge. They serve as bridge that will take us to the place where better things happen. They are heroes for they give us weapon,... the weapon of Love that no other things on Earth can destroy it, that this Love can change everything even impossible things to change.
Thanks to Teachers for they mold us to be strong, to overcome any problems we encounter and they mold us to be prepared for whatever things will be thrown to us, we can face it with love and care in our hearts. For all the things they do, we must salute them and give them all our respect. Then we can face the world and shout out that "MY TEACHER, MY HERO"....

Science Month: "Invention Month"

"Unravel the Causes, Build the Solutions,
 Empower Science Clubber to Action"

All problems are meant to be solved, but for science, problems are just as easy as an eye-blink for science uses the systematic way. As for their theme, this shows that science is the master of solutions like math but involves science things.
"Unravel the Causes, Build the solutions, Empower the Science clubbers to Action." This theme is a kind of systematic way. The three words, Unravel, Build and Empower, are just the solutions in every problem. Unravel, means Know or Discover. It means that you  must first know where the problem came from. If you found the root of the problem, from here you can derive solutions. The word Build, means Plan. After knowing the cause, you must make a plan to solve the problem. Without this, you can't, or you will never solve the problem, because this serves as a guide. And lastly, the word Empower, this means Move. After understanding the cause and building a plan, the next thing to do is to execute. It's the last thing to do, after this, your solution to the problem will be successful. This  success is achieved  by using the science thing, the systematic way.
Thanks to Science for we know many things, how things work. Because of science, we know the systematic way of solving problems easier and faster. Thanks to science that it helps us to improve ourselves. To be successful in life we must remember these things: Unravel the Causes, Build the Solutions, Empower Science Clubbers to Action.

Modern Day Hero

What comes to your mind when someone says "hero"? Superman?Batman?Wonder woman?
But for me, there is only one hero in my life. They protect me, save me when I'm in times of danger. In only one call they quickly response and do what ever can make me feel better.
Batman, Superman, or any other heroes you know, all are no good to my hero. Their super punch or kicks are no match to love that my hero brings to everybody. Their super powers are useless to the caring shield that my hero possesses. All are no match to my hero.
Can you guess who is the hero I admire? My hero.... are my PARENTS and all other parents that a child have.
My hero has no super strength, no super vision nor super powers,,, but they have the thing called Tender Care and especially the most powerful LOVE. With their most powerful weapon, the "Love", they can change the world. They can produce good quality teachers, lawyers, politicians and many other thing that a man can be, to be able to change the world we're living.
Parents are heroes for they save people (children) from going to the dark side. They serve as a guide to be able to go to the right side. They serve as light to bring us to success. Parents are candles, that they help others by giving light by sacrificing their own string of life.
So, after you read this, face your parents and say "Thank You" for they are heroes of your life, back there waiting to help you in case you need help. And say in the whole world that "My Modern Day Hero are my Parents!!!"

"Wika Natin Ang Daang Matuwid"

"Char! Charing! Etchos! Modra! Podra! Itech!" These are some words that we, the Filipinos,  usually hear in this modern generation that we don't know where in the universe these words came from. In using these words, do you think that you develop your being as a Filipino?
Nowadays, in every corner, you will see modern devices that are made by our modern technologies. One of these is the "Computer". In a "Computer", you can entertain your self in different ways, one of which is by using the "Social Medias" brought to us by the "Internet" like the "Twitter", "Facebook", "Instagram" and others more. Because of this, we learn some new languages. Then, we slowly used to it, and soon we will forget our own language, the Filipino Language/ "Wikang Pilipino".
Our own language is like our shirts, it represents us, being a Filipino,... would you like to borrow Uncle Sam's shirt just to say that you're an American?

Reflection: First Quarter

I have many lessons gained in this first part of my Fourth year high school life. Even if there are many challenges that I had encountered, I also gained new lessons and discoveries that I can apply for the future.
One of the lessons that I have learn is to have complete notes, because these past days, I observed that I can catch up fastly to our lessons unlike last year that I always borrow somebody's notebooks to be photocopied when near exams and tests.
When there are lessons learned, there are also problems encountered. One of these is my memory, because I always forgot things that are to be brought. One night I worked for my project and saved it to my USB, then the next morning, I went to the school without that USB drive. Because of that my project was late. I only passed it the next morning.
Because of that experience, I will always alarm my cellphone to remind me of something that I will bring or I will do.
For that, I told my self that it is just OK, because I know that it's better late than never and now is just the First Quarter and there are three more quarters that I know that I can correct what I did wrong.

Removal of "SK" in Every Barangay

One of the topics of the SONA (State of the Nation Address) of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III or P-Noy was about the "Sangguniang Kabataan".
Others would like to remove this organization on barangays because others will teach the "kabataan" or the youth to be corrupt. Others say that the meaning of "SK" is "iSkwela ng Korapsyon". Lack of programs, inactive, these are some reasons, I think, that other say that the "SK" corrupt the funds that given to them.
Hundreds of thousands are given to every "SK" Chairman for their annual fund for their barangays, because of this, many youths are very interested to be the chairman.
For me, the "SK" should not be removed on every barangay instead, just lessen the funds that are given to them, because they are not experts in handling big amount of money like that. All I want is to have the government implement some seminars/sessions for the youths about how to manage a group or how to act as a leader, and also how to manage money on their hands. I don't want the "SK" to be remove, for the youth can shout out what they want to say and have the youth a representative in the government. And to know what "OK" or what's not for the youth.
